About SFCI

Spirit Filled Churches of India [SFCI] is the name given to a group of churches along with their leaders, who have felt the need to be closely knit together for mutual spiritual help.

In India so far, there has been no means of bringing and keeping Spirit-filled, independent churches together in love and relationship. SFCI consists of churches being brought together by the sovereign will of God, not by the effort of man.

There are many churches across the length and breadth of India, established by independent pastors and workers with a vision and goal. Some of them have grown independent and content within themselves. Many others lack spiritual and material support and hence remain stagnant and unnoticed. The pastors feel that their voices are not heard and there is no one to stand with them in their struggles to give them counsel and direction for their progress. Some of these leaders have secluded themselves because of fear of other stronger leaders taking advantage of them. Some of them have kept aloof because others did not appreciate their vision and goals. Some were forced to become independent because they felt tremendous bondage in remaining under a Babel type structure. Some have not been recognized by established setups and so remain independent. There are various bandages that Satan has brought these churches into, but the Lord wants every church to have a wonderful sense of being a part of His Body and enjoy all the inheritance that He has prepared for them.

‘Spirit Filled Churches of India (SFCI)’ Net is being pruned, after much prayer to bear fruit that will last, and after the observation made by Abraham Sekhar, the Founder.

SFCI believes in Holy Trinity, Jesus’ suffering, crucifixion, Death and Resurrection and His Glorious Return as the King of Kings and Lord of Lords. Baptism in Holy spirit with evidence of speaking in unknown tongues, manifestation and operation of Nine Gifts of the Spirit within the Body of Christ and also in performing healings, deliverance, signs and wonders. Fivefold ministries given to the Body for the equipping of saints of God and for the Body of Christ universally in gathering, disciple making, and be part of the preparation of the Bride of Christ, without spot, wrinkle or blemish, on His Return.

SFCI links and provides spiritual oversight with several churches, network of churches and ordained ministers. This involves mutual voluntary submission and seeking for mentorship.

Based on the Word of God, such church or churches are expected to be founded on the Doctrines of Apostles and Prophets of SFCI with the oversight of Global Apostolic Transformation Missions.

Such churches and network of churches are expected to:

  1.  Accepting the spiritual authority flowing through SFCI and not with any other stream which may not acknowledge the statement of faith as mentioned above. Ordained ministers and Bishops are expected to be acknowledging this spiritual authority and in the absence of such acknowledgement, SFCI withdraws their spiritual covering and oversight, and periodically update the website with additions and deletions for obvious reasons.
  2. Believe in decentralized functioning with their leaders and continues in developing and releasing them to be planting churches and developing new networks. SFCI will not be able to relate to a controlled structure.
  3. While acknowledging and encouraging the local churches and networks to give opportunity to all believers to tithe and support the ministry, SFCI expects tithe of the tithes collected or regular missionary support sent to SFCI central account for its support and functioning.
  4. SFCI expects each church and network of churches to obtain the seal as ‘an imac’ church (India Model Apostolic Congregation’) approved by the Apostolic Team.
In Septem6er 1984, while in prayer, I saw a Net being let down into a sea of People. The Net was then drawn upwards, and I saw that the Net was hauling in millions in to the arks of god’s salvation. In my vision my gaze was the drawn on to the cords and knots of which the net was formed. I saw that at each knot were agroup believers. I saw that the leaders of these groups were holding the hands with leader of other groups. The arms stretched out from leaders to leaders, were in fact the cords of Net. In my spirit, I perceived that God would form the Net. It would not be formed by any human being or church denomination. Indeed, only he could see the Whole Net. Each leader in knots of the Net would be really able to see directly his own relationship with leader whom god had drawn him friendship with. These relationships were not organizational or denominational. They were personal friendship among spirit-filled Christian leaders, across all organizational and denominational line
